Crítica: Terrörhammer – Under the Unholy Command (2015)

Terrörhammer es una banda serbia formada en el año 2010 por Pentagramator the Helltyrant y Warbeast Holocausto, la cual se decanta por el Thrash/Black Metal o como ellos le llaman, Necro Speed Metal, influenciados por el underground más oscuro de los años 80.
En el año 2011, con Pentagramator a las guitarras, Warbeast a las voces y varios miembros de sesión, graban su primer EP llamado “Vintage Black Mass”. Más adelante, en el año 2013, Warbeast decide dejar la banda y se une a los noruegos Gorgoroth. Por tanto, Pentagramator pasa a realizar tareas vocales y a la vez las guitarras e introduce a dos nuevos miembros a la banda, B.B.K. Necro Doctor al bajo y T-Scream Agonizer a la bateria.
Con esta nueva formación graban un single llamado “Noć Paklenog Gneva” dedicado a los fundadores del underground checo Master’s Hammer y Root.
Por último, T-Scream abandona la banda y a mediados del año 2014 empiezan a grabar su primer LP “Under the Unholy Command”, respaldados por el batería Honza “Butcher” Kapak (Avenger, ex- Master’s Hammer) y en Octubre del año 2015 sale a la luz a través de Deathrune Records.

“Under the Unholy Command” es toda una sorpresa en el que vamos a encontrar una intro y ocho canciones de auténtico sabor añejo, las cuales recuerdan al sonido de bandas como Bathory, Venom o Hellhammer, donde se entremezclan ritmos frenéticos con una blasfema voz agresiva y riffs thrashers con solos de guitarra propios del Speed Metal. Todo ello tratado con una producción impecable.

Estos chicos sienten una gran pasión por las primeras representaciones del metal extremo y canciones como la veloz “Necro Speed Megalomania”, “Blood for the Countess” de corte más heavy o la black metalera “Church of Sodomy” así lo atestiguan.

Lo que está claro en este álbum es que el legado de los años 80 está en muy buenas manos y estoy seguro de que así va a continuar. Terrörhammer es un grupo indispensable para todo fan del metal más puro y desde ya pasa a formar parte de mi lista de los mejores grupos actuales. No te los pierdas bajo ningún concepto.

Terrörhammer is a Serbian band formed by Pentagramator the Helltyrant and Warbeast Holocausto in the year 2010, which opts for Thrash/Black Metal or as they called Necro Speed Metal, influenced by darker underground in the 80s.
In the year 2011, with Pentagramator on guitars, Warbeast vocals and several session members, they recorded their first EP called "Vintage Black Mass". Later, in the year 2013, Warbeast decides to leave the band and join Gorgoroth Norwegians. Therefore, Pentagramator happens to perform vocal tasks and at the same time the guitars and introduces two new members to the band, B.B.K. Necro Doctor on bass and T-Scream Agonizer on drums.
With this new formation they recorded a single called “Noć Paklenog Gneva” dedicated to the founders of the Czech underground Master’s Hammer and Root.
Finally, T-Scream leaves the band and in the middle of the year 2014 begin to record their first LP "Under the Unholy Command", backed up by drummer Honza "Butcher" Kapak (Avenger, ex – Master’s Hammer) and in October of the year 2015 come to light through Deathrune Records.

"Under the Unholy Command" is a great a surprise in that we find an intro and eight songs of authentic old flavor, which are reminiscent of the sound of bands like Bathory, Venom or Hellhammer, which mix frenetic rhythms with a blasphemous aggressive vocals and thrasher riffs with guitar solos of Speed Metal. All treated with a flawless production.

These guys feel a great passion for the first representations of extreme metal and songs such as fast "Necro Speed Megalomania", heaviest "Blood for the Countess” or the Black Metal "Church of Sodomy" so prove it.

What is sure in this album is that the legacy of the 1980s is in very good hands, and I am sure that this will continue. Terrörhammer is an essential for any fan of the pure metal and now they are in my list of the best current bands. Do not miss them under any circumstances.
